Founder's Message
I’ve spent my life building, leading, achieving, and challenging. From being a gold medalist and academic high achiever, to holding a degree in Business Development and Management, my journey has been shaped by ambition, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. I went on to found my first business, which was awarded Fastest Growing Business in the South East of the UK. In 2023, I was nominated for CEO of the Year at the Women in Governance, Risk and Compliance Awards which recognise outstanding female leaders driving excellence, ethical leadership, and impact across business and governance. I later took my business international, and today lead and scale operations across the UK, Turkey, and the UAE. In 2025, I was recognised as a finalist in a major UK business awards programme in the Entrepreneurial Businesswoman category, acknowledging my leadership and growth journey as founder of Lexnis UK. I am also currently studying NGO Development and Management, whilst pursuing a PhD in the program, reflecting my belief that entrepreneurship should sit at the intersection of growth and impact. My leadership journey also led to an invitation to join CHIEF, a Forbes-recognised, privately vetted global network of senior women executives, founders, and CEOs, amplifying women shaping leadership at the highest levels and has featured globally respected figures such as Michelle Obama and Amal Clooney. The invitation reflected sustained business growth, leadership credibility, and a commitment to purpose-led success. On paper, it looks like success came easily. In reality, it was earned through setbacks, self-doubt, and a refusal to give up. But SMK was not born from success, it was born from truth.
Despite the accolades, the boardrooms, and the milestones, I carried a quiet struggle that many women know too well. I’ve been curvy all my life, not the kind celebrated by trends or runways, but real, feminine, and unapologetic. And no matter how much I achieved, I was still made to feel “less than” because I didn’t fit a narrow definition of beauty. That disconnect stayed with me. SMK exists because I know what it feels like to be powerful in the world, yet invisible in fashion. This brand was created by a curvy woman, for curvy women. Not to disguise curves, but to honour them. Not to ask women to shrink, but to remind them that they are already enough. I believe fashion is more than fabric. It’s confidence. It’s identity. It’s the quiet strength a woman carries when she feels seen and respected. When a woman feels good in what she wears, she shows up differently, in her work, her relationships, and her life. Whether you’re in Pakistan, the UK, the UAE, or anywhere in the world, if you’ve ever felt overlooked, judged, or pressured to be less than who you are, SMK was made for you. This brand is my promise:That your worth will never be measured in sizes. That your curves will never be an apology. And that beauty will always belong to you. With purpose and pride,
